Nicholasville Larosa’s Family Pizzeria Community Update

Interest from Central Kentucky Community Continues to Fuel LaRosa’s Expansion

December 04, 2020 // Franchising.com // CINCINNATI, OHIO - LaRosa’s entered the Lexington area market along with Skyline in May 2019 with its Richmond Road full-service, dine-in and carry-out restaurant to much fanfare. In December 2019, LaRosa’s Family Pizzeria continued its expansion with a delivery/carry out at Southland Drive and Nicholasville Road based on further demand in Central Kentucky. The residents of the City of Nicholasville expressed their interest in having their very own LaRosa’s, and LaRosa’s listened - announcing the Summer of 2019 that a full-service, dine-in and carry-out restaurant would be built at 350 E. Brannon Road at Brannon Crossing near Lexington Road. Then the novel coronavirus hit.

“Construction has been active for the last few months and the exterior of the pizzeria should be complete by mid-December,” said Gary Holland, One Holland Corporation, franchise owner of the Lexington Skyline and LaRosa’s. “We are planning to open our Nicholasville Skyline mid-December”, Holland continued. The anticipated opening of the Nicholasville LaRosa’s is slated for Spring 2021.

“We genuinely want to thank the Nicholasville community with a community event when our Skyline opens, however given the current state of the pandemic, we’ll have to hold off for now”, Holland said. “The community has been so patient with us as we work to create a family pizzeria serving the quality food LaRosa’s is known for,” Holland continued.

LaRosa’s 5,500-square-foot Nicholasville restaurant will include dine-in, pick-up and delivery of its family-recipe pizzas and other Italian favorites with a 160-person capacity dining room. The restaurant will also feature a full-service bar and a “Buddy Room” for parties and events. Skyline’s 2,700-square-foot facility will include a traditional dine-in restaurant with a 96-seat capacity serving its famous Cincinnati chili, Coneys and Ways, with a drive-thru window.
