Office Evolution Continues Expansion Amid Pandemic

Coworking brand sets eyes on Texas Energy Corridor

June 05, 2020 // Franchising.com // Houston, Texas - Office Evolution, the nation’s largest and fastest growing coworking franchisor today announced it is expanding its footprint with a new Houston location slated to open on June 15th. The expansion comes in response to a growing demand for shared workspaces with easy access to where professionals live. Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, the brand’s strong model, suburban network and ability to accommodate shifting work habits, is fueling Office Evolution’s growth in 2020.

Located at 15115 Park Row Boulevard, the 12,113 square-foot center is owned and operated by two husband and wife teams, Johnny and Faith Goff and Carey and Kerri Rigsby. This will be the group’s first of two Office Evolution locations that they hope to open in the Houston area. The new office space will service small-business owners throughout the Energy Corridor, Katy, Cypress and other surrounding areas. The center provides a mix of private offices, conference rooms and community spaces, as well as other professional services to small business owners and solopreneurs to help them drive their business forward.

As businesses across the nation look to take their operations to the suburbs, Office Evolution is poised for growth. The brand operates in secondary markets and targets suburban workers, many of whom will be searching for a safe and professional environment to work from while employers look for ways to cut costs by getting out of expensive leases for traditional office space.

“Office Evolution has seen fantastic success in markets throughout Texas, and our new location in Houston will be no different,” said Faith. “Houston has always been known as a hub for small businesses, and the demand is higher than ever for workspaces where solopreneurs can get work done. As the local entrepreneurial ecosystem continues to flourish, Office Evolution will be there to provide workspaces and other services to help the small business community grow and succeed.”

Prior to becoming Office Evolution franchisees, Faith built a career in the healthcare industry, where she has spent the last 15 years managing and overseeing the logistics of multi-specialty physician practices, which also includes research and education. Her husband, Johnny, a veteran of the United States Army, spent 15 years in residential and commercial construction, holding roles such as project manager. After spending years in construction management, Johnny became an entrepreneur and started his own garage organization franchise, which he still operates today.

“The Office Evolution team has been supportive from day one, and we are eager to open our doors and show the local business community what our brand is all about,” stated Carey. “Our passion and dedication for helping small business owners, coupled with Office Evolution’s industry leading model will be a great asset for Houston for years to come.”

Kerri has spent 16 years in the energy sector, holding various roles focused on supply chain management and procurement. She currently serves as a senior business analyst for a major energy infrastructure company, where she is focused on analyzing trends within the gas and oil industry. Carey spent years in the construction safety field, where he served as a project manager. He currently serves as an operations manager for a major e-commerce brand where he is responsible for overseeing operations and logistics.

“We are proud of our Ohana (Hawaiian for family), and we are thrilled to see the Goffs and Rigsbys continue to grow the Office Evolution brand in my hometown of Houston,” Office Evolution COO and Global Workspace Association Board Member William Edmundson said. “As entrepreneurs and business owners themselves, their knowledge of the business world and their passion for helping other entrepreneurs will provide Houston business owners with workspace and services that enhance their business performance. Our continuous expansion of the Office Evolution network provides business owners and solopreneurs across the country with access to the services and resources they need to exceed their goals!”

“Franchisees like Johnny, Faith, Kerri, and Carey are vital to our success, and we look forward to having them help us continue our mission of supporting business owners across the nation,” said Mark Hemmeter, founder and CEO of Office Evolution. “Houston is a business-rich environment that our model fits perfectly. We have no doubt that the Goffs and Rigsbys will be strong brand ambassadors for Office Evolution and will continue providing the necessary resources and services solopreneurs and small business owners need to grow their operations.”
