IHOP taps CKE veteran Brad Haley as CMO

Haley to focus on marketing, culinary strategies for brand

Glendale, California-based IHOP Restaurants has appointed former CKE Restaurants Holdings Inc. executive, Brad Haley (left), to the role of senior vice president and chief marketing officer.

Haley replaces outgoing chief marketing officer and head of culinary, Kirk Thompson.

During Haley’s tenure at CKE, he directed the marketing and public relations initiatives of both the Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s brands.

"Brad is an exceptionally talented marketer who is uniquely qualified to lead our marketing and culinary efforts, bringing a bold vision to the development of our distinctive menus, integrated breakthrough campaigns, and omnichannel experience, all while grounding the strategy in what our core guests want and expect at IHOP," said IHOP president, Darren Rebelez.

Haley will report to Rebelez starting August 14th.

“I am thrilled to be joining the IHOP family since the brand is so beloved and has truly become iconic in American culture…I look forward to leading the talented marketing and culinary teams to help add several more great chapters to IHOP's long and successful history," Haley said.

IHOP currently operates more than 1,700 restaurants globally with locations in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
